Systems such as the EASY PRO ductless mini split with pre-charge 410a refrigerant lines can be installed without an HVAC professional except for the electrical part of the installation such as installing a disconnect or wiring the disconnect and the condenser unit to the breaker box.  Systems such as the ADVANTAGE series should be installed by an HVAC professional.

YES!  MR COOL units have double duty performance.  Stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

The is also a 4th generation ductless mini split system called the 4th generation series. The 4th generation is more expensive but has a higher seer rating, better condenser temperature range, and a better warranty.  So if you live in a climate that does not have extreme seasons and only need one air handler in the room, the Easy Pro is a great choice!
